The Ohio State Swim Club Wins The Senior Meet!

Congratulations to our OSSC swimmers for swimming extremely well and winning the team championship at the 2015 Senior Meet (15 & Over State Championship). You can find complete results here.

This meet has historically been in March, but Ohio Swimming moved the meet to November so that we could hold a true club championship meet that doesn’t conflict with high school championship meets. The meet was smaller this year, but that had no effect on our swimmers!

We had a large percentage of lifetime best swims, along with 13 swimmers accounting for wins in 14 different events throughout the weekend. The following swimmers also picked up Winter Junior National cuts:

• Ellie Nebraska: 100 free (50.79)
• Rachel Peroni: 100 fly (55.60) and 200 fly (2:01.82)
