OSSC Swimmers Compete at Nationals

Congrats to Miranda Donley, Janessa Mathews, Jason Mathews, Arnold Luk, Sam Cheverton, and the other Ohio State swimmers and post grads who competed at Nationals over the weekend! While our club swimmers didn’t achieve any additional Olympic Trials cuts, we competed well against many of the fastest swimmers in the world.

Miranda, Janessa and Jason also competed in the short course time trials on Sunday, and the results were awesome! Janessa had huge drops in the 100 breast (1:02.86) and 200 breast (2:15.51). She is currently ranked first in the country in the 200 and third in the 100. Jason also set new marks in the 100 breast (56.23) and 200 breast (2:03.20). He is tied for fourth in the country in the 100 and is also fourth in the 200. Miranda competed in the 100 fly (56.37) and 50 free (23.29). Her 50 time currently places her ninth in the country.

Way to go!
