Coach Megan - National Age Group Coach of the Year Finalist!

Congratulations, Coach Megan Hurless!

Megan has been selected as a Top 10 Finalist for the Fitter and Faster Tour 2016 ASCA Age Group Coach of the Year! The finalists from which the winner will be chosen will be honored in September at the 2016 ASCA World Clinic in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

The top 60 performing age group swim teams were identified using the USA Swimming Virtual Club Championship team rank for 11 to 14 year old swimmers. ASCA contacted the head coaches for each of the top 60 teams and asked them to identify the age group coach (or coaches) who were responsible for the excellent performance of their swimmers.

The OSSC ranks 30^th in the country for our 11 to 14 year old swimmers. In addition to Megan being a Top 10 Finalist, Russ Jurg and Kyle Goodrich were also nominated in the initial pool of candidates.

Congrats to all of these coaches – along with the entire OSSC coaching staff and swimmers – for producing such great results!
