DDAC is built on the commitment of youth swimmers and their devoted families. It takes a commitment to show up for practice and challenge yourself to improve your times at swim meets. This commitment is also necessary in order for our team to participate in swim meets, host swim meets and represent our community as a club.

Volunteer Commitment:

- Members who do not meet their volunteer commitment as outlined in the volunteer policy will be assessed a $15 per hour not completed.

- Penalties for failure to meet the volunteer commitment will be invoiced at the end of the season or upon member termination, whichever comes first.

- You have the entire short course season to complete hours for short course (Sept - March)

- You have the entire long course seasons to complete hours for long course (April - August)

- Hours can be completed by the athlete(s), family, or friends.

- Hours must be submitted using the online form located here and must be submitted 3 weeks prior to the completion of the season to allow time for calculation for the entire team.

- The volunteer requirement is 10 hours per swimmer & capped at 15 hours per family per season

- Examples of volunteering include, but are not limited to: timing at home and away meet, becoming a team Official, assisting with available volunteer opportunities provided at home meet, being a Pool Parent and assisting during practice times at the front desk, or translation services.

-To sign up to volunteer at the front desk, you can sign up here or email [email protected] to find out more.

Thank you for supporting DDAC! We couldn’t do this without all our dedicated families!
