The 2023-24 swim season is almost in its second month!  Everything goes so fast these days. 😊

Thanks to all that provided snacks and time to the NST Halloween Celebration.  Fun was had by all! 

Reminders regarding NST Volunteer Service Hour Requirement:

  • For a normal season, each family is required to serve 20 hours.
  • Families are responsible for keeping track and submitting their own hours.
  • Submit hours to Kelly Corbett at [email protected]
  • Here is an OPTIONAL hour tracker form for your convenience.
  • Hours not served/turned in are billed to your NST account. 
  • Hours can be earned by:
    • Providing snacks/food to team events
    • Lane timing at swim meets
    • Serving time on the board-meetings and other board service
    • Serving time for various fundraisers and team events
    • Becoming an official for swim meets
  • Please contact me if you ever have questions regarding this requirement. This season’s hours are due August 14th.   More information can be found on the website under the Team Info/Fees tab, then the Volunteer Service Obligation link. 

 

The next NST Board Meeting is this Wednesday, November 8th at 6pm at the Newport High School. 

NST Food Drive for Food Share continues until November 16th.  Please continue the wonderful donations! 

I am putting together a Swim-a-Thon committee. The Swim-a-Thon, our biggest fundraiser, is scheduled for May with a kickoff in early March.  Please let me know if you would like to be involved.
