Twinkletoes for Toddlers:

For ages: 3-4 years old (No experience required). The dancer will participate in a variety of rhythmical activities using lummi sticks, scarves, tambourines & more; explore body movement developing body awareness; and learn basic locomotor skills. Exercises for flexibility and balance will be taught. Creative movement activities, simple dance steps, and song dances will also be introduced. They perform a Song Dance in one show of the Spring Recital.

Class times offered, meets once a week: (only register/attend one), class size limited to: 10 ~ Mondays 6:10 - 6:40; Tuesdays 3:50 - 4:20; Wednesdays 3:40 - 4:10     $35/month

 

Pre-K:

For ages: 4-5 years old (No experience required).  The dancer will explore creative movement exercises for Tap and Ballet based, as well as various body movements developing co-ordination, flexibility and balance.  They will be introduced to a variety of rhythmical activities, basic dance steps, song dances, pre-Ballet, Tap and more.  We will dance to a variety of music and basic dance steps will be learned and incorporated into dances. They perform a Tap Dance in one show of the Spring Recital.

Kinderdance:

For Kindergarten aged dancers (No experience required).  This class is for children in Kindergarten. Emphasis in this class will be on developing co-ordination, balance, flexibility and memory skills.  Class length is 50 minutes and they will participate in Ballet, Tap, and Fitness (stretch & strengthening). They perform a Tap dance in one show of the Spring recital.    ​

Combo I:

For dancers in 1st-2nd grade (No experience required).  This 60-minute class consists of Ballet, Tap, and Fitness (stretch & strengthening) and an intro to Jazz once a month. This class will introduce the dancer to the basic skills of each genre.  The dancer will learn beginner moves at the barre, center floor work, and beginner steps and combinations.  This is a good introduction class for 1st graders, and 2nd graders with no dance experience-- the Ballet teaches grace, the Tap teaches rhythm, and the Fitness teaches flexibility & co-ordination.  They perform a Ballet and Tap dance in one show of the Spring Recital.

Class times offered, meets once a week: (only register/attend to one), class size limited to: 14 ~ Tuesdays 4:30 - 5:30; Wednesdays 5:20 - 6:20; Thursdays 5:10 - 6:10 .  $60/month

 

Combo II:

This is the next class to follow Combo I.  Dancers must have completed Combo I to continue on into Combo 2. This 75 minute class consists of:  Ballet, Tap, Fitness, and Jazz. It is a progression of the dance steps learned from Combo I.  the Ballet teaches grace, the Tap teaches rhythm, and the Fitness teaches flexibility & co-ordination.  They will perform 2 dances ~ a Jazz & Tap ~ in the Spring Recital.
Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 16 ~ Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:45.  $70/month

 

 

Combo III:

This is for new/beginning levels in grades 2 - 5 that would like an introduction to Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Fitness (Stretch & Strengthening class), and also can be continued for our Combo II dancers next step. Class length total is 110 minutes.  Basic intro to each style of dance.  They will perform a Ballet, Tap and Jazz dance in the Spring Recital.    Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 16 ~ Thursdays 4:00 - 5:50.  $85/month

 

 

Ballet/Tap I:

Ballet/Tap I = a 75 min.. combination class for "beginner level" dancers in grades 2nd thru 5th grade with 0-2 years experience at these styles.  This class is taught as a year-to-year progressive class. Based upon grade and experience, the dancer will learn ballet & tap technique, terminology, a variety of rhythmical steps and footwork, and variations from old to new styles. No matter the level, it's a fun rhythmical and aerobic experience. They will perform a Ballet and Tap dance in Spring Recital.  This class is held during our Combo III class level as an "a la carte" class offering (Meaning: can take just Ballet/Tap, or add Jazz for Combo 3 experience).    Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 16 ~ Thursdays 4:00 - 5:15.  $65/month

 

Ballet II/III:

Ballet II/III = for dancers in grades 3 thru 5th grade with 2-3 years experience at this level. Dancers will learn basic technique of Ballet -- barre work, center floor work, leaps and turns, along with steps and combinations according to level of class.  This class, no matter the level, will help the student feel graceful, coordinated and fit, as well as proper body alignment for good body development. Ballet is taught as a year-to-year progressive class.  The dancer will learn classical ballet technique emphasizing terminology, arm and foot positions, and proper body alignment. ​
Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 18 ~ Tuesdays 4:00 - 4:45.  $40/month

 

Tap II/III:

Tap II/III = for dancers in grades 3 thru 5th grade with 2-3 years experience at this level. This class is taught as a year-to-year progressive class. Based upon grade and experience, the dancer will learn tap technique, terminology, a variety of rhythmical steps and footwork, and variations from old to new styles. No matter the level, it's a fun rhythmical and aerobic experience.  All the basic sounds, rhythms, footwork, steps and combinations will be taught to a variety of songs.  Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 18 ~ Tuesdays 4:50 - 5:20.  $35/month

 

Jazz I:

Jazz I = for dancers in grades 2 thru 5th grade with 0-1 years experience at this level. This 30-minute class consists of Jazz and Fitness (stretching & strengthening) and will keep your dancer moving! The dancer will learn a wide variety of jazz technique according to age & ability level. The jazz class consists of a warm-up, quick stretch, center floor isolations and steps, across the floor progressions, and center combinations. A variety of music styles will be used to enhance the learning of the changing world of jazz. The class will also have a segment of Fitness -- this helps teach the dancer flexibility, co-ordination, and strength.  This class is held during our Combo III class level as an "a la carte" class offering (Meaning: can take just Jazz, or add Ballet/Tap for Combo 3 experience).    Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 16 ~ Thursdays 5:20 - 5:50.  $35/month

 

Jazz II:

Jazz II = for dancers in grades 3 thru 5th grade with 1-2 years experience at this level. This 45-minute class consists of a wide variety of jazz technique according to age & ability level. The jazz class consists of a warm-up, quick stretch, center floor isolations and steps, across the floor progressions, and center combinations. A variety of music styles will be used to enhance the learning of the changing world of jazz. The class will also help teach the dancer flexibility, co-ordination and basic dance moves.  Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 14 ~ Mondays 4:05 - 4:50.  $40/month

 

Jazz III:

Jazz III = for dancers in grades 3 thru 5th grade with 2-3 years experience at this level. This 45-minute class consists of jazz technique according to age & ability level. The jazz class consists of a warm-up, quick stretch, center floor isolations and steps, across the floor progressions, and center combinations. A variety of music styles will be used to enhance the learning of the changing world of jazz. The class will also help teach the dancer flexibility, co-ordination and basic dance moves.  Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 14 ~ Mondays 5:05 - 5:50.  $40/month

 

Ballet/Lyrical:

This class will continue to teach Ballet technique but will add an emotional and expressive aspect to the dance moves emphasizing combinations to "feel" and "interpret" the music.  This is our Middle School/High School Level I/II with 0-3 years in this level experience. Grades 5 - 8
Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 18 ~ Mondays 6:00 - 6:45.  $40/month

 

Lyrical II:

This class will continue to teach Ballet technique but will add an emotional and expressive aspect to the dance moves emphasizing combinations to "feel" and "interpret" the music. This is our Middle School/High School Level III/IV with 3+ in this level years experience.  Grades 8 - 12
Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 18 ~ Mondays 6:50 - 7:35.  $40/month

 

Jazz/Funk I/II:

This 45 min. class consists of warm-up, basic dance steps, jammin' variations, and combos to upbeat pop music. It's geared to learning funky video moves and styles.  ​This is our Middle School/High School Level I/II with 0-3 years in this level experience.  Grades 5 - 8
Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 18 ~ Mondays 6:50 - 7:35.  $40/month

 

Jazz/Funk III/IV:

This 30 min. class consists of warm-up, basic dance steps, jammin' variations, and combos to upbeat pop music.

It's geared to learning funky video moves and styles.  ​This is our Middle School/High School Level III/IV with 3+ in this level years experience. Grades 8 - 12
Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 16 ~ Mondays 8:45 - 9:15.  $35/month

 

MS/HS Tap I/II:

This class is taught as a year-to-year progressive class. Based upon grade and experience, the dancer will learn tap technique, terminology, a variety of rhythmical steps and footwork, and variations from old to new styles. No matter the level, it's a fun rhythmical and aerobic experience.  All the basic sounds, rhythms, footwork, steps and combinations will be taught to a variety of songs. This is our Middle School/High School Level I/II with 0-3 years in this level experience. Grades 5 - 8.    Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 18 ~ Mondays 7:40 - 8:10.  $35/month

 

MS/HS Tap III/IV:

This class is taught as a year-to-year progressive class. Based upon grade and experience, the dancer will learn tap technique, terminology, a variety of rhythmical steps and footwork, and variations from old to new styles. No matter the level, it's a fun rhythmical and aerobic experience.  All the basic sounds, rhythms, footwork, steps and combinations will be taught to a variety of songs. This is our Middle School/High School Level III/Iv with 3+ in this level years experience. Grades 8 - 12 with experience.  Class time offered, meets once a week:  class size limited to: 16 ~ Mondays 8:15 - 8:45.  $35/month

 

Pointe I:

Introduction to Pointe work ~ on flat and on Pointe shoes.  Grades 9 - 12 with Ballet/Lyrical experience.  It is up to the dancer to get fitted for Pointe shoes at a dance store. Pointe shoes are not part of the MDDU Shoe Sale in August. TOTAL FEES CHARGED:

Besides a ~ Monthly Payment per class, you will also be charged:
~Annual Registration Fee ($20/dancer) upon registration
~Costume fee per class you take. Costume fee includes: tights, individual/group digital photo, recital t-shirt, and costume is yours to keep forever. See payment plans below for costume pay/class pay options.

 

Discounts:

Multi-Class discount: -$2.00 for 2nd class; -$4.00 for 3rd class

Sibling disocunt: -5% for 2 siblings; -10% for 3+ siblings  

 

 

PAYMENT PLANS

 

1. You may chose to make Monthly payments (8 monthly payments, as we take December off) along with a Costume Deposit ($40 due November 1st) and a Costume Balance ($40 due February 1st).  
 

OR ~ new this year:

 

2. Bundle your Year Pay and Costume Pay together for a $10 savings.  You will make one payment that will include: Registration, Full Year of Class Pay, and Full Costume pay.  This payment plan will save you $10.
