MOLLY DIES GEER
STUDIO OWNER / DIRECTOR
"Little Dancers"/ Jazz / Ballet / Lyrical / Pointe / Dance Express
Molly was born in 1981, her Mom (Linda) opened Dance Unlimited in Fall of 1983 ~ where Molly began dancing in Fall of 1984 and continued through till she graduated from WAHS in 1999.
With her College graduation in 2003 from Point Park University, Molly was ready to take on the world ~ but the world had different plans! In June 2003 Molly got struck by a car (hit & run) while walking across the street in Cary, North Carolina ~ through a guardian angel experience, Molly miraculously survived with only a broken tibia/fibula (receiving a titanium nail through her tibia), road rash and a handful of scars. THIS event changed Molly’s path of life and brought her inspiration and the never give up attitude! In 2006 she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she was a cocktail waitress at MGM Grand, left for a bit to pursue her dream job dancing on a cruise ship ~ the Norwegian Crown; returned to Vegas and danced as Rio Rita in “Show In The Sky” at the Rio Hotel & Casino. In 2008 Show In The Sky closed and through her show manager got word on a need of American dancers in Guam (where is Guam you ask? An island in the western Pacific Ocean over by Tokyo) after a video audition Molly got the job and 2 weeks later moved to Guam. Only planning on staying for 6 months, Molly stayed/danced in Guam for 3 years and 3 months! A total of 1,620 shows at the SandCastle DREAM <-- the highlight of her professional showgirl career, amazing memories on a beautiful island (in the show, she was also the body double of the Magician’s Assistant where she turned into a white tiger 2 times a night). Molly returned home to Warren, PA in 2011, took over Dance Express in 2016 and Dance Unlimited in Fall of 2019. Survived the pandemic in 2020, married the love of her life, J.R. Geer in 2021 and is now just living the DREAM.
Thankful for ALL of her dancers...past, present, and can’t wait to meet the future ones! Much LOVE! xo
Mrs. Molly teaches the “Little Dancers” program (2-year old, Twinkletoes, Pre-K, Kinderdance, Combo 1) HS Pointe & HS Lyrical, Competition Team, Performance Team & will be subbing for Miss Brea (Combo 3)
