Hello all aspiring Aquacowboy parent swimmers! We are going to do something new this year at the swim a thon/ banquet, which will be a PARENT RELAY! Parents are encouraged to bring their suits and goggles and we will have teams of 4 swim the relays. This will be great entertainment for the kids and will give parents an experience of what their swimmer feels like during meets. We are planning to do this after the swim a thon. Normal Saturday practice schedule 8-10 am in water, will begin next week on the 15th for those swimmers not competing in the Del Valle Open Water Swim. Greetings all Aquacowboys Families, we're coming off a great season in which we had more swimmers qualify for JO's, Far Westerns, Sectionals, Santa Clara International Meet and Junior Nationals than ever before! I am writing this message from Indianapolis, where I just saw Nina perform her 3rd personal best of the meet, going 2:22.2 in the 200 IM and narrowly missing the Finals. Thanks everyone for a great meet on Thursday night! I was our first time having swimmer "coaches" mentor younger swimmers and it was great to see the Senior swimmers connecting with younger swimmers and encouraging them. Alex Wang: Dropped 7 seconds in the 200IM this season, making NCS for the first time and placing 3rd in the EBAL championships.
