NNA, We have some updates and upcoming events that everyone should be aware of.
Here it is.
Please shop online at smile.amazon.com when making online purchases. We also
have the team store under the team tab for all of our NNA apparel.
Our March meet is quickly approaching. In the coming days and weeks you will receive
emails from our meet director, Jodi Wright requesting your time during the meet as a
volunteer along with supplies and monitory donation requests. Be sure to take a look at the
attached Volunteer Information form to get an idea of what positions are available during our
upcoming meet. Also attached is the donation form, please share with businesses that you
frequent or that you work with/for. There is no small donation!
NNA couldn’t host the great meets we do without the support and dedication of you
amazing swim parents!
Meet Recap:
Carson Blizzard Blast
First meets for Alia Villalobos, Paddy Fitch, and Venice Nguyen. Great job
swimmers.
Adelle Evans new B time in the 25 breast. Jacob Koval new A time in the 25 Back.
Brooks Porter, 4 new best times. Elise Evans dropped 27 seconds in her 100 free!
Anna Koval new A time in the 200 free. Isabella Porter new A time in the 100 back
with a 6 second drop. Danica Sullivan with 100% in 10 events! Delaney Sullivan
with a new far western cut in the 50 back. Janine Kaiser with 4 new best times.
Genoa Nixon got 8 new best times in his 10 swims. Dillon Wright dropped in 7 of his
10 events. Amelia Brady got a best in her 500 free 5:52.87. Daisy Fanter had some
tough in season swims. Alison Cameron got two new best times in the 400IM and 500
Free. Derek Cooley was 6 for 6 in best times. Paul Findley had 5 best times. Claire
Harmon had 2 new best times. Sashka Koval was 4 for 4 in best times. Eli Lund was
7 for 7 including a 2min 12 second drop in the 1650! Ben Miller got best times in both
of his events. Amelie Palmer was 2 for 3 events. Ben Peters 6 out of 7 events
including 7 first place finishes. Kyle Scalise had some solid post collegiate swims.
Amelia Seibert had 3 tough swims. Antonina Wiewior was 5 for 6 on her swims
including her first time under a minute in the 100 free 58.75.
Great job to our swimmers. Please check our schedules and stay tuned for more
opportunities to swim at upcoming swim meets.

Northern Nevada Aquatics 2016
We have some important upcoming events for February and March.
1. 10 and Under Championships in Sunnyvale February 4th. Get your
entries in asap.
2. Feather River Age Group Open. February 10-12 in Yuba City CA.
Entries due Wednesday. For all groups. Team travel offered for 13
and overs.
3. Douglas Valentine Meet February 17-19. Meet is open. For all
groups. Located in Minden, NV.
4. Pleasanton Senior Open Meet. February 25-26. For 13 and over
swimmers. See Erik for details on team travel and entries.
5. Zone All Stars. March 5th. Entries due today. For all qualified.
6. Junior Olympics in Carson City NV. For all qualified.
7. NNA Age Group Open. Our meet. We need help from all families
and swimmers. Northwest pool. March 18-19.
