Swim a thon
We had 33 swimmers do the swim a thon this year. Overachieving swimmers, Derek Cooley and Genoa Nixon both did 12,500 yards. That means they did 100x 125s @1:40 to do this feat. Great job gentlemen.
If you have not already sent in your sponsor form and donations, please do so right away.
For the athletes that won caps, please let me know what you want on the side of them. We will also allow all athletes to order the personalized caps given away as prizes. Please let me know right away if you want to order them. The caps are black silicone caps and you can write your name (or nickname) on the side.

Fantastic meet for our swimmers!
Nevaeh Serna, Rebecca Cooley, Chloe Landon, Sydney Nguyen, Alia Villalobos, Doninic Borja, Max Condon, AJ Spevak, Pasha Varganov, Willie Dukes, Ava Hane, Ginnie Kincaid, Rowdy Miller, Charles Condon, Daniel Varganov, Paris Collins, Venice Nguyen, Delaney Sullivan, Ingrid Aldea, Claire Harmon, Valerie Hu, Derek Cooley, Genoa Nixon all represented NNA at the meet and did great.

A highlight from the meet came from Chloe Landon. She dropped 5 seconds in her 100 Back to swim a time of 1:08.74. Her new time is currently ranks as 10 year old girls 43rdin the nation. Way to go!

Northwest Pool Closed for Pump Repair. Thursday and Friday February 13thand 14th.
No Northwest pool practices February 13thOR 14th. No Caughlin Club practices February 14th.
Santa Cruz Senior Open February 15-16, 2020
Entries are due soon. Age and time requirement to participate. Team travel offered for 13 and over swimmers. Meet sheet is on our web site under the events tab.

March 7 NNA Spring Novice Meet
Novice meet for all White, Squid and Seahorse groups. Held at Northwest pool.
March 21-22. NNA Age Group Open– Save the date, ALL TEAM MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE. Please let me know if you would like to help volunteer for a particular job.
