GENERAL INFORMATION

IST Athletes have access to strength and conditioning programming.

Strength and conditioning training sessions are programmed for athletes to have at least one day recovery between strength training sessions and train consistently each week over defined training periods.

Senior and Sockeye Athletes:

Swimmers in our Senior and Sockeye Groups train under a system that embraces regular strength and conditioning stimuli that support individual athlete development and goals. Senior Athletes are provided individual training programs as the athlete is able to establish a consistent schedule of training.

Athletes that are unable to schedule in house regularly should request a training program outline to perform at alternate locations such as home or a gym. Contact Coach Jim at [email protected]

Surge Athletes:

Swimmers in our Surge groups are encouraged to particpate in a variety of sport, dance and movement based activities outside of swimming.

All Surge orientation, education and training sessions are coordinated and scheduled with Coach Mandi ([email protected]).

CURRENT TRAINING SCHEDULE (March 25, 2024 - April 28 2024)

Issaquah Training Facility - 84 Front Street, Issaquah, WA 

Sockeye and Senior Athletes: Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 8:00pm, Sat: 9:00am - Noon

Surge Athletes: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Swim Yoga/Mobility (swim specific mobility and stretching) - All groups welcome: Mon, Tues and Thurs: 7:15pm -8:00pm
