Washington State Senior Championship Results
Washington State Champs was a very fast meet this year by looking at the top 8 finals that swam each night. Our swimmers had a great showing finishing in 3rd place in the overall standings. Congrats to both Christina and Sarah for being event champions. Christina won the 400 IM and Sarah won the 1000 Free, 200 Fly and 500 Free respectively. We had a combined 83 best times, 7 new gold times, 13 new Washington State Senior Champ times, 15 new Northwest Age Group Regional times, 2 new Western Zone Age Group Times, 8 new Western Region SC Senior Sectional times, 4 new Western Region LC Senior Sectional times, 4 new Futures Times and 4 new Winter Junior times. Both Will O’Daffer and Brandon Yue broke the15-18 and Open Boys 200 Back 50 Breast records at the meet. Great job Sockeyes and we are looking toward March for our next big set of meets.
