Snowflake Classic Recap
This past weekend, swimmers in the Surge program competed at their first meet of the new year and second half of the short course season. The Snowflake Classic was held at Hazen High School on Sunday and athletes age 9&Under from 6 different teams came together to compete.
IST had 31 Sockeyes compete, they combined for 42 personal bests, including 21 first time swims. Several swimmers were able to achieve new Gold and Silver time standards, way to go everyone!
Keep up the hard work during practice Sockeyes, your time and effort are paying off! The next meet for these groups (and the first for our Sockeye program swimmers) will be the Winter Challenge at the end of the month, January 25-26th. We look forward to seeing you all in action again!
