2022 FALL TIME TRIAL RECAP

On November 13th, IST athletes and coaches traveled to Snohomish Aquatic Center for the 2022 IST Fall Time Trial. This was our sixth competition of the season and the first for our Steelheads program.

Fall Time Trial served as another opportunity for our Surge, Sockeye, and Senior athletes aged 14&u to compete in core events (25s, 50s, or 100s of the strokes). It also represented the first of two meet opportunities for our Steelhead swimmers. Surge, Sockeye, and Senior athletes also got one step closer to completing their first time through their event cycles this season. Athletes excelled while executing their race strategies and applied lessons learned from previous competition.

Steelhead athletes swimmers acquainted themselves with the meet process (warm ups, checking in with coaches, staging, etc.) These groups not only swam well in their first competitive experience of the season but also had fun in the process!

IST parents showed up in force to volunteer as officials and timers. This support is absolutely crucial to our ability to host these swim meets. Thank you for the support!
