The Issaquah Swim Team is proud to be a Safe Sport Recognized Club.  IST always puts the safety of our athletes first, and we were one of the first Pacific Northwest Clubs to be recognized.  The Sockeyes remain committed to providing a positive and safe environment for all our athletes at practices, dryland training, swim meets, team events, and team travel.

WHAT IS SAFE SPORT?

USA Swimming are committed to fostering a fun, healthy and safe environment for all its members.  For that reason, they have created a Safe Sport program and put in a place a detailed Code of Conduct.  Safe Sport also provides policies, education, a reporting structure, and tools that are intended to serve all members as we work together to maintain this environment.  To learn more about Safe Sport, visit the USA Swimming Safe Sport Page.

Additionally, USA Swimming provides free training videos for parents and athletes.
