Make a Splash at the team event of the season!

Sunday, March 1st, 4 - 7pm

at Piedmont’s Veterans Memorial Building

PST Families and friends of the team are invited. Tickets go on sale in early January.  

Join us for dinner, an ice cream truck, carnival-style games, raffle prizes, and a silent auction. 

We are looking for Silent Auction items from our community. Some ideas include: hosting a ticketed party for a small number of swimmers or parents; putting together a swimmer psych gift basket; donating goods or services; and mentoring with a senior swimmer. Officials Needed!

Here are the top three perks to becoming an official:

1. Receive a dues credit (once you are an official official)
2. Learn all of the nuances of each stroke
3. Preferential parking at (some) swim meets

As a parent of a swimmer, you have the opportunity to be involved with your child and their sport in various ways. One very instrumental way is by being trained, certified, and working as an Official.  Officials are present at all competitions to implement the technical rules of swimming and to ensure that the competition is fair and equitable to everyone. Sanctioned swim meets cannot run without Officials!  As an Official, you gain a more thorough understanding of swimming strokes, fulfill your PST volunteer requirements, receive a dues credit, become more engaged with the sport, enjoy great hospitality, and even get preferred parking at many venues.

1:1 Virtual Meetings with Head Coaches:

If you'd like to have a 1:1 conversation with any of our head coaches, click on their names below to schedule a virtual meeting.

Head Coach: Coach Stefan 

Questions about team policies, team calendar, raising general concerns, senior groups (Platinum, YRHS, Titanium) related questions, your swimmers’ progress, goal setting with your swimmer, and anything else.

Head Age Group Coach: Coach Colby

Questions about Gold and Silver groups, your swimmers' progress, goal setting with your swimmer, etc.

Head Developmental Coach: Coach Adrien

Questions about the Green, Blue, and Bronze groups, your swimmers' progress, goal setting with your swimmer, etc.

Our Days Off:

All of our Coaches have days off, and during those days, they will not check their work messages. We aim to respond to emails within 48 hours; however, please be patient if we don’t.

This Week’s Top Tip:

Don’t forget to bring gloves, hats, socks, extra clothes (long-sleeve shirts, sweats), boots (no open-toe shoes), parkas, blankets, sleeping bags, hand/toe warmers, and anything else to keep body temperature up, to help your swimmer stay warm at swim meets.  6 Ways to Keep Warm this Swim Season

Here are some additional tips for helping your swimmer stay warm during the colder, rainy months. 

Also, try bringing hot chocolate in a thermos for your swimmer’s post-workout recovery drink.
