Pre-Competitive Program
Our Pre-Competitive program is held at Montclair Swim Club. This program is available for swimmers ages 6-9 who meet the prerequisites. Your swimmer will learn the basic mechanics of an efficient and effective competitive stroke, the basics of competitive starts and turns, and be introduced to the structure and rhythm of a competitive swim team practice. Our curriculum is based on the American Development Model by USA-Swimming (Level 1), however we are customizing our program based on the group's needs. Swimmers who have successfully completed four sessions will have priority to join PST’s competitive swim team.
We are now offering a precomp class on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Wednesday is at Montclair Swim Club and will run from 3:45 - 4:45pm and on Saturdays at Mills College, Trefethan Aquatic Center from 10:30 to 11:30am
