12/5-7: Senior Open Prelims and Finals Meet (location: DVC). 22 PST swimmers are registered to compete.

Meet Jobs Open at 8pm Monday Night

Arrival and Warm-Up Times

• Friday: 3pm arrival for 3:15pm Warm-Up
• Saturday & Sunday: based on individual needs but before 8am.

12/6-7: C/B/BB+ Meet (host: TERA). 111 PST swimmers are registered to compete.

• Green & Blue: 8:15am arrival for 8:30am Warm-Up
• Bronze, Silver, & Gold: 7:45am arrival for 8:00am Warm-Up
• Platinum, YRHS, & Titanium: 7:15am arrival for 7:30am Warm-Up

Swimmers must arrive on time for their warm-up, as our coaching staff is busy with other groups before and after, making it nearly impossible to support swimmers who arrive late.

Next Week:

Sun, 12/14: Blue, Bronze, Silver, and Gold swimmers will have a special combined practice at Mills College from 8:00-10:00 on Sunday, December 14th. (Green swimmers are also welcome but are subject to the $25 drop-in fee.) Come celebrate a successful first chapter of swim season together, and meet some new PST friends for 2026!

12/12-14: 14 & Under Winter Under Age Group Champs (host: SRVA). Meet is open on FastSwims. All qualifiers need to attend. 

Important Dates, Cancellations, and Practice Updates:

Mon, 12/15 through Sun, 12/28: PST is on Winter Break. All practices are cancelled. 

Winter Training - December 29 to January 4th

PST will offer morning (8-10am) and afternoon practices (3:30pm onward) from December 29th through January 4th. A detailed practice schedule will be published soon.

Holiday Dine and Donate!

Join us for a pre-holiday team social at Super Duper Burgers at the Emeryville Public Market on Tuesday, December 16th from 3 - 10pm. All swimmers and families from all groups are welcome. Present this flyer and our team will get 20% back on all purchases. 

*This is NOT a drop off event. Swimmers must be supervised by an adult. 

*Please pay your own way for all food and beverages!

*Present the flyer for your purchase to count towards our fundraiser. Paper flyers are preferred and will be handed out at practice and at the door.

*Happy hour is from 4 - 6pm. Free fries with the purchase of a beer.    

*Coordinate on WhatsApp for group specific meet up times. Staggering arrival times with younger groups earlier is advised!

PST's Piranha Party!

Make a Splash at the team event of the season!

Sunday, March 1st, 4 - 7pm

at Piedmont’s Veterans Memorial Building

PST Families and friends of the team are invited. Tickets go on sale in early January.  

Join us for dinner, an ice cream truck, carnival-style games, raffle prizes, and a silent auction. 

We are looking for Silent Auction items from our community. Some ideas include: hosting a ticketed party for a small number of swimmers or parents; putting together a swimmer psych gift basket; donating goods or services; and mentoring with a senior swimmer. Please fill out this form to contribute.  Items are due by January 31st, 2026.

This Week's Top Tip!

Don’t forget to bring gloves, hats, socks, extra clothes (long-sleeve shirts, sweats), boots (no open-toe shoes), parkas, blankets, sleeping bags, hand/toe warmers, and anything else to keep body temperature up, to help your swimmer stay warm at swim meets.  6 Ways to Keep Warm this Swim Season

Here are some additional tips for helping your swimmer stay warm during the colder, rainy months. 

Also, try bringing hot chocolate in a thermos for your swimmer’s post-workout recovery drink.

Our Days Off:

All of our Coaches have days off, and during those days, they will not check their work messages. We aim to respond to emails within 48 hours; however, please be patient if we don’t.
