| Dear Piedmont Swim Team Swimmers and Families, Happy New Year! I hope you have all enjoyed a fun and restful holiday break and had some time to relax away from the pool. 2025 was a wonderful year for PST swimmers and coaches. We had the pleasure of witnessing remarkable growth among our athletes, resulting in a record number of Age Group Championship and Sectional qualifiers. You can view highlights from our meets and social events—such as the Swim-A-Thon and Club Championships—on our Instagram page. Our coaching staff and I are incredibly grateful not only for the dedication our athletes show day in and day out, but also for the parent and board support we have received throughout 2025. Thank you so much for all you do for your swimmers and for the PST community. As we look ahead to 2026, we, the coaching staff, are excited about the fun events ahead, including the Senior Travel Meet to Clovis in February, our photo day, the Piranha Party, and—most importantly—the most exciting swim meet of the season, PST’s Club Championships in May. You can view our meet and event schedule here and on our website. There is still one major unknown for all of us: the opening of the Piedmont Pool. At some point—hopefully in 2026—it will happen, and that will likely be the last time we, as a team, will have to adjust practice times and locations. In the meantime, we will work tirelessly to support our swimmers as they prepare for meets, help them improve in and out of the water, and continue to foster an inviting, friendly, and supportive environment for swimmers and families. To all our swimmers: I encourage you to set one or two simple swimming goals for 2026—whether it’s improving your streamlines, becoming more consistent in practice, or aiming for a specific time standard. Small, steady steps add up. Thank you again for making 2025 such a memorable year for the Piedmont Swim Team. I’m grateful to lead this team and excited about everything we’ll accomplish together in the year ahead. Wishing you and your families a healthy, happy, and successful 2026—both in and out of the pool. Go PST! Stefan Bill Head Coach, Piedmont Swim Team |
