Head Age Group Message: Colby Price - Reestablish your goals!

As we head into the winter season, it’s a perfect time to reset and reestablish our goals. Cold weather and tough conditions can make it tempting to shy away from challenges, but this is exactly when commitment matters most.

One of the biggest takeaways from the age group town hall meeting came from the swimmers themselves: success in this sport is built on achieving small goals. When you focus on the little things, they become the driving force behind your long‑term progress. If you can commit to the small details, the big goals stop feeling overwhelming. But without goals—big or small—success can start to feel like nothing more than extra work.

Maybe it’s adding one more kick off the wall. Maybe it’s keeping your head down for just one more stroke. These small adjustments might seem trivial in the moment, but they build into race strategies that move you closer to your larger competitive goals. It’s easy to overlook them, but it’s just as easy to see real growth when you give those small things a chance

PST Block Party Meet: February 7-8

We will be hosting our third Block Party of the season–PST Distance Block Party Meet–on February 7-8, 2026, at Mills College.  This will be a fun meet with distance and sprint events, with relays and awards ceremony on Sunday.  

Meet Registration is now open and will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.  Sign ups will be through the PST Website.  Everyone is expected to attend both days.

Volunteer Job Sign-Ups will open on Monday, February 2, 2026, and close on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

Fee

$75 flat fee per participant (covers both days), invoiced directly to PST accounts.

All participants will receive a special Block Party swim cap.

Please reach out with any help with costs.  We want all swimmers to participate.

Competition will start at 9:30 a.m.  Warm-up times will be announced later.

Parents, please remember that signing up for a volunteer shift is an expectation. If your swimmer participates in a meet, you also have a responsibility to help out. 

We are thrilled to see our athletes compete and look forward to a great meet!

For Green and New Blue Swimmers:

The deadline to withdraw from PST is February 9th by completing our Google form. Please see our leave policy for more details.

If we do not hear from you by that date, your family will be financially committed for the full length of the upcoming term, per our policy.

Two step registration instructions:

1 - Buy Tickets: Click the link above to view the website, and the green "Dive In!" button to purchase tickets. Don't forget to buy raffle tickets! Limited number of tickets available - get yours now. 

2 - Register for the Auction: Required to Bid. Click the "Auction" tab at the top and the blue "Register to Bid" button. Bidding is in person only at the event. Winners will take home their items and they will receive an invoice for the items following the event.

Sat & Sun, Jan 24-25: Senior Open (host: OAPB). Meet has closed. 41 PST swimmers are registered to compete.

Meet Jobs for the OA Senior Open Meet  will open on Monday Jan 19 at 8PM and will close Wednesday night. If your swimmer is attending, please plan to sign up for a job.
