2025 Water Aerobics Information
On Sundays (Saturdays in April and October), we offer deep water aerobics in the diving well for members and guests of all ages and fitness levels using a variety of equipment that may include flotation belts, noodles, aqua dumbbells, and webbed gloves. This full-body, low impact but higher intensity workout reduces strain on joints, improves cardiovascular health, strengthens muscles, and increases endurance. No swimming skills are needed, but you should be comfortable being submerged chin-deep.
On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, we offer water aerobics for members and guests of all ages and fitness levels using two entire lap lines and a variety of equipment that may include webbed gloves, aqua dumbbells, noodles, and resistance bands. This full-body workout in waist to chest-deep water focuses on functional fitness, stability, balance, endurance, flexibility, and core muscle engagement. Each class includes a warm-up, cardio or strength-training, muscle toning, and a cool-down. No swimming skills are needed, but water aerobics shoes are suggested to improve traction and to help reduce foot fatigue and discomfort.
