Head Coach
Clay Loosli

Clay is a Walnut Creek native, grew up swimming for Indian Valley and is a graduate of Las Lomas High School. Clay’s kids have swam on our team for the last 15 years and he’s served numerous roles including running our Little Fins program and serving as Meet Director from 2019-2020. Clay just finished coaching our Fall Clinic today and has done an incredible job over the last few months. He bleeds Larkey Blue and hopes to help bring the Walnut Creek Swim Conference Title back to Larkey next July!
Clay has 20+ years of experience in both coaching and personal training athletes of all ages in all sports. His spirit, passion and enthusiasm for swimming has always lived in his core. His focus will be on helping swimmers of all ability levels from newcomers to County champions improve their technical skills, conditioning and mental resilience—so they can accomplish all of their personal goals. Ask anyone who just completed Fall Clinic- If you show up to practice with Coach Clay you will see results! He is passionate about coaching the entire athlete, not just for pops and best times, but the leadership, confidence, and work ethic that fuel long-term success.
