Swim Team Family Fundraising Requirements
Each family is required to raise $300 for the 2026 swim season. This requirement may be
fulfilled through one or more of the following options:
Items that Count 100%
- Lap-a-thon pledges collected and turned in.
- Cash donations made by your family or solicited from family, friends or associates.
- Auction Contributions: Credit for items donated to the auction will be based on the actual selling price at the auction regardless of its stated value (If a basket is worth $125 and sells for $75, $75 is the amount that is accepted.) Credit for items will be allocated to one family only. Donated services that are given to the Auction (such as babysitting, dog walking, private lessons) will be accepted. The Auction Coordinator has final approval on all items that will be considered and accepted for the Auction.
- Business and Personal Sponsorship: Business sponsors or other donors are greatly welcome! Please refer to the Sponsorship Levels for details. All sponsorships must be coordinated with the Fundraising Coordinator in advance and strongly suggested to receive early in the swim season.
- Snack Shack Venmo Contribution: Venmo donations designated for the Snack Shack are accepted and facilitated by Snack Shack Coordinator.
Items that Do Not Count
- Purchases of YWST apparel
- Purchases made from restaurant’s dine & donate or social fundraising events (like Kentucky Derby, Cornhole Tournament, Poker Night, Bunco)
- Purchases made at the YWSC auction
