Co Head Coach - Tommy Meriam

What’s up Seahorses! I’m Coach Tommy, and I’m super excited to be your head coach this year along with Coach Sydney! This will be my 1st year as head coach and 4th year coaching at Ygnacio. I will be going into my senior year at SDSU next fall. Some of my favorite things to do include, playing many sports, hanging out with my friends, and of course swimming. I’ve been swimming since I was 5 years old and my favorite strokes are free and fly. I can’t wait to watch everyone crush their goals and have a blast this summer. Goooooo Ygnacio!

Coach - McKenna Doggett

Hey Seahorses, I’m Coach McKenna and I am super excited to be returning to Ygnacio this summer. I'm going into my fourth year at Northeastern University studying Neuroscience in Boston. I'm already counting down the days until I can trade in my winter boots for my flip-flops and see you guys out on the pool deck! I’ve been swimming since I was 5 years old and joined Ygnacio back in 2018 (P.S. best decision EVER!). I couldn’t ask for a better team and community to be surrounded by. I can’t wait to see what this season brings and for yet another best summer ever! See you soon!!!

Coach - Michael Manuel

Hi seahorses, my name is Michael Manuel and I am super excited to be coaching this year! I currently swim for DVC and have been on Ygnacio since I was 7. My favorite events are Fly, Backstroke and IM. I’m so excited to see everyone again and be apart of the seahorse family! GO YGNACIO!!!

Swimmer Coach - Emma Meriam

Hey seahorses! I’m coach Emma and I’m so excited for my first year of being a swimmer coach! I am a freshman at Cal Poly and I’m excited for my final year as a swimmer on YWST. I have been on ygnacio since I was a 7/8 and fell in love with the team right away! I’m so excited for this season and to watch everybody crush it in the pool!!

Swimmer Coach - Nevaeh Minglana

Hi Seahorses!! My name is Coach Nevaeh. I am so incredibly blessed and excited to be a swimmer coach this season! I’m a graduating senior from Clayton Valley Charter High School. I did both swim team and water polo there for all four years. I started swimming on Ygnacio when I was a 7/8 and have loved every second since. I cannot wait for this amazing season! Gooo Ygnacio!!!

Swimmer Coach - Reagan Rasmussen

Hi seahorses!! My name is Coach Reagan and I’m a freshman studying nursing at Brigham Young University. I’m super excited to be back for another year of swimming and coaching!! I love ygnacio and have swam on this team since I was 5! My favorite events are breastroke and IM. It’s gonna be a great season!! GO YGNACIO!!
