✅ Water Polo Practice

JV is a no-cut sport - don't be afraid to start LATE - we need more athletes and would love you on the pool deck.

  • Junior Varsity + New Players are after school.
    • JV Boys Practice (normal): 345-515pm (RIGHT after school - release is 320pm)
    • JV Girls Practice (normal): 415-6pm (pool clean-up may pad some extra time + watch for "Chalk Talk" days)
  • More Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are on the Water Polo page
  • Specific details are on the Boys and Girls Individual Water Polo pages

✅ Athletic Clearances

Get your physical done now. If your items are uploaded and still pending after a few days - follow up with the school.

You can't practice until your athletic clearance is cleared by Woodcreek or RJUHSD Staff.

✅  Coaches + Team Parents

Please direct questions to Coach D'Arienzo (boys) and Coach Carrigan (girls) - their info is on the Contact Our Team page. Team Parents can answer some questions as well. (link 🔗 for contact info for our Board + Coaches)

✅ Recruit New Athletes

talk to your friends + invite them to check out the sport in August! It's better to start from the beginning and quit later - so you're on the same playing field of experience with other "new to the sport" athletes. It is OKAY to have NO experience in water polo. Swimmers do have a leg up to adjust, but lacrosse, soccer, basketball, volleyball players may find a lot of similar features to the game. Please come out! It is a GREAT cross-training sports for off-season.
