Awards Night - Woodcreek Water Polo 2022

Hello Athletes and Parents / Guardians

Confirmed (12/2) - apologies for the delay, we were waiting confirmation for dates that the coaches could reserve the WHS Cafeteria - none of us are trying to be insensitive to busy holiday schedules.

CONFIRMED

Boys' Award Night: December 8th (Thurs) 6-8pm (both JVB + VB)

Girls' Award Night: December 9th (Fri) 6-8pm (both JVG + VG)

Food: Desserts only being served* (eat dinner beforehand)

Where: WHS Cafeteria (to the LEFT of the front gate - closest to the main office - you can see the door from the parking lot).

Who: All family members are welcome.

What: team acknowledgements, certificates, a slide show of the season for squads, coaches' comments, dessert, and quick photos. Athletes if you can attend, please do so - but we know this is last minute with both varsity squads going deep into the playoff season, but we appreciate you being present if you can for our seniors - for their last water polo ceremony. I suggest too - please share some kind words with your teammates and coaches - that fuel goes a million miles - we all need more positive vibes.

Winter Club Water Polo

Winter Water Polo has started for many clubs this week (12/1) - see links on the "Helpful Links" page for the local water polo clubs if you're interested in competitive AND Junior Olympic training (JOs).

Joining club late is not an issue - so don't let that deter you! Start with competitive and see if including junior olympics training makes sense for you. If you haven't done club water polo - don't be shy to ask the coaches (first stop), varsity parents, our Aquatics Board, or others who have done it before.

We have athletes who attend Sac Polo and American River - but any experience at any club is fantastic!

Swim Season 2022-23

Swim Season is ahead and more updates will be coming mid-to-late December and early January for dates!
