ABOUT CORE AQUATICS
District 214 high schools have a long history of excellence in aquatics, and our Community Education aquatics programs continue that storied tradition.
Our Core Aquatics swim team offers competitive swimming for ages 8 to 18, and our Core Aquatics water polo team offers competitive water polo for ages 10 to 18. Whether it’s your first aquatics team experience or you’re already on your high school team and want to improve your skills in the off-season, our aquatics programs are perfect for you!
Most practices are held in our state-of-the-art Natatorium at Prospect High School, a beautiful eight-lane, 25-meter pool and diving/water polo well. Some practices are also held at Wheeling High School or Elk Grove High School. Meets and games are held throughout the suburban Chicago area.
Core Aquatics offers a full suite of aquatic education and experience. From Learn-to-Swim to Masters, Diving and Water Polo, we are committed to providing a first-class experience and lifelong joy of your sport.
Our qualified team of coaches offers the highest ratio of coach to athlete instruction in the area, focusing on technical proficiency as foundational to success in aquatic sports. Athletes choose which competitive track they wish to focus on between swimming, water polo, and diving. Core Aquatics promotes teamwork, cultivates individual responsibility, and encourages personal goal achievement – all while embracing the love of swimming as a lifelong skill.
