Core Aquatics is the High School District 214 Community Education youth aquatics program offering learn to swim for 4+ year olds, competitive swim, dive, water polo programs for kids age 6 - 18, and masters swimming from 18+ years old. 

Our Core Aquatics swim team offers swim lessons, competitive swimming for ages 6 through 18, water polo and diving for ages 10 to 18, and masters swimming for ages 18+. Whether it’s your first aquatics team experience or you’re already on your high school team and want to improve your skills in the off-season, our aquatics programs are perfect for you!

Most practices are held in our state-of-the-art Natatorium at Prospect High School, a beautiful eight-lane, 25-yard pool and diving/water polo well. Some practices are also held at Wheeling High School or Elk Grove High School. Meets and games are held throughout the suburban Chicago area.

Our qualified team of coaches and instructors offer the highest ratio of coach to athlete instruction in the area, focusing on technical proficiency as foundational to success in aquatic sports.  Athletes choose which competitive track they wish to focus on between swimming, water polo, and diving.  Core Aquatics promotes teamwork, cultivates individual responsibility, and encourages personal goal achievement – all while embracing the love of swimming as a lifelong skill.
