James Fox will be entering with 16^th year coaching with Oceana this summer and his 14^th year as Head Coach. .  He is also currently Boys Head Swimming Coach for Maury High School in Norfolk, Virginia where he also works as a mathematics teacher.   He has previously coached at Tidewater Aquatic Club and for the Virginia Beach Recreation Center league for Seatack.  As a swimmer he swam for 14 years in the VBSL and for four years at Cox High School where he was named team captain his senior year, the first team captain in Cox swimming history.  He was also a regional and state qualifier as a swimmer.  He believes in swimming as a team sport and encourages all swimmers to have a great time in the water.  He is most proud as a coach of helping Oceana develop into the great team it is and looks forward to continuing that tradition this summer.
