Congratulations to Maddie Inman and Caleb Griffith for representing Damascus well at the MCSL Coaches Longcourse Invitational Meet last night! This is a prestigious meet of the counties Top 10 fastest swimmers in each event where they DOUBLE the distance to swim! Maddie placed 8th in 15-18 Girls 200 meter Backstroke! Caleb placed 3rd in 8&U Boys 50 meter Breaststroke! Maddie was also an alternate to swim the 100 meter Butterfly, but all the ladies showed to swim and no one scratched. Well Done, Maddie & Caleb!!! Note to the recap: our 4 alternate swims did not get a chance to swim due to the seeded peeps all showing up to swim, so Laney Derrenbacher (free & back), Colin Nguyen (free) and Sadie Hebert (IM) did not swim those events.
