Q. How do I register my swimmer for a meet?

A: Your swimmers must be registered for an upcoming meet by midnight the Tuesday before the meet.

  Here's how:

1)  Log into your families’ account.

3)  On the bottom right-hand corner of the home screen, under “Upcoming Events and Meets,” click on the event you'd like to register for.

4)  On this screen, click on the button that says “Edit Commitment.”

5)  Next, a screen will appear and at the bottom, all the athletes in your family will appear.

6)  Click on a swimmer, and you will go to a screen with a drop down menu, labeled “Declaration.”

7)  You will have two choices:

  • Yes, please sign [name] up for this event.
  • No, thanks, [name] will NOT attend this event.

8)  Once you hit, “Yes, please sign [name] up for this event”.

9)  If you want to swim part of the meet, there is a little box in which you can write a note to the coach.  If, for example, you have to leave at 9:30 a.m., write that, and the coaches will get the message.

10) Go to the bottom of the screen, and hit “Save Changes.”

You can register your swimmer's status for each meet of the season in advance so you don't need to worry about it each week.

Q: When will my child move up from Lil' Cudas to the competitive team?

A: The Lil' Cudas program is designed to be a stepping stone to the eight and under team, but each swimmer will progress at their own pace. You will see tremendous growth throughout the season and your child's coach will determine when he or she feels your child is ready to join the eight and under team.

Q: How will I know if practice has been canceled due to weather?

A: If weather is questionable and you're wondering if practice has been cancelled, our Facebook and Twitter pages and our website will be updated with any cancellations and an email will be sent out if practice is cancelled in advance of the starting time.

Many times, practice will start, then have to be cancelled for a number of reasons including thunder and lightning, water contamination, or an insufficient number of lifeguards. Make sure your swimmers know what to do in case of a cancellation during practice. Those swimmers who come to practice alone should have a plan for getting home. A Coach or Board Member will stay with a swimmer who is unable to get a ride; however, it is the responsibility of the swimmer to notify an adult of his/her situation.

Q: How can I view and download pictures from the meets taken by the team photographers?

A:  The team posts photos to Shutterfly after meets. Recent photos can be found here. You'll need to register for a free Shutterfly account to download or order any prints.
