Meet the Coaches

John Facciola, Head Coach 

John Facciola is entering his seventh season as head coach of the Ridgewood Barracudas.  His coaching philosophy centers on personal improvement, love of the sport and good sportsmanship.  As coach, his swimmers have shown consistent improvement and have competed at a high level.  In his professional life, he is completing his 25th year in public education.  For the past eight years, he has been an ESOL teacher at Freedom High School.  All three of his children have competed as Barracudas.  

Cameron A. Tefft, Assistant Head Coach

Cameron Tefft is excited to join the Ridgewood Barracudas for his first season as assistant coach. He prides himself on not only teaching valuable skills for swimming, but also life outside of the pool. Cameron has previously served on the coaching staffs of the Victory Lakes Piranhas and Westridge Waves. He currently teaches strings and music technology at Freedom High School in Woodbridge and is a professional musician.

Nate Eggert, Assistant Head Coach

Nate Eggert returns to the Barracudas this summer after a season away. He is a lifelong Barracuda and is dedicated to helping swimmers improve.
