Three league records fell this week. Braemar's Michael Rudd broke his record from last week in the 11-12 Boys Breast, while Sudley's Jamie Comwell and Sam Pomajevich broke league records in the gilrls 8U Back and boys 13-14 fly. What a way to end the season. Almost 4000 swimmers and over 10250 splashes led to 160 team records and the first 2 league records. Amy Tansill from Breamar set the league record for the girls 15-18 50 Breast with a time of 34:36, while Sam Pomajevich from Sudley set the records in boys 15-18 50 fly in a time of 27:73. To add to the excitement 6 of the 8 divisional meets had close team competitions. For first place there were 4 meets determined by less than 100 points....

Over 10000 splashes today - most in any non-divisional meet. Again, no league record fell today but 50 team records were broken and we had over 4400 time improvements. Victory Lakes (5-0) and Sudley (4-0) remain the only undefeated teams. Victory Lakes remained undefeated by beating Braemar by 62 points in our closest meet of the week. The Friday night stroms prevented three meets from taking place. However of the remaining 9 meets two were decided by less than 60 points. Virginia Oak topped Bridlewood by 53, while Victory Lakes beat division opponent Kingsbrooke by 38 points to become the only 3-0 team this year. What a great start to the season, over 9500 splashes and two meets were decided by less than 50 point. Ridgewood for the second year in a row had a close battle. This year they topped Wellington by 46 points. At the other end of the county we had Victory Lake getting even with Piedmont for their loss in last years season opener by only 2 points. This year Victory Lake won by the 2 points. In the virtual meet, we had Braemar taking top honors for the first time....
