Our 2025 swim seaon officially wrapped up on Saturday, July 26th at the VSL Champsionship Meet held at JMU. Between the six VSL teams there were 436 swimmers, bumped up to 465 with the Piranhas participating. Overall it was a GREAT meet with some big time drops! The 2023 VSL Championship meet went smoothly and couldn't have been done without the help of all of you. THANK YOU to every parent who stepped up to help out in some way either on deck or behind-the-scenes for the meet. Wednesday night, a team record that has been standing since 2008 was tied! At the Westover meet on July 5, 2023, Sophia Papa broke the 11-12 Girls 50 Breaststroke record, swimming a 39.24 SCM. The previous record was set by Jessie Arnold on June 24, 2008. Congratulations, Sophia - and good luck the rest of the season as you work toward owning that record!
