School Year Programs
"SWIM SCHOOL"

These are WMSC programs that are held during the months of September 2025- May 2026)
The School Year programs are are designed for swimmers who have already had some previous swim lesson instruction with WMSC or WM Baby Fish. Classes are held in three separate sessions (Fall, Winter and Spring) at Providence Wellness Center Pool location. The 2025 Fall Session runs from September 2 - November 20. The Winter Session runs from Jan 5 - Feb 26 and (Spring: March 9- April 30). (Please Note:) A "New Swimmer" evaluation is required before approval (see below). Also, due to current PWC protocols in place, all programs are " Drop Off " programs and do not have changing and rest room access. Parents are allowed to come inside to get their swimmer situated before practice begins but are not allowed to remain inside during practice time. Special designated days will be scheduled when parents will be allowed to come in and watch from the pool deck.
Level 1 (Beginner Stroke Lessons)
* All "New Swimmers" ages 5-8 desiring a spot will need to schedule a swimmer evaluation during December before you can be considered for approval. Email Coach Evans at [email protected] to schedule a "new swimmer" evaluation.
* Approved swimmers are billed monthly by credit card auto draft at a cost of $95 per month (+ $10 registration fee)
* Winter Session is a two month, two day per week swim program for ages 5-8 who have had some previous swim lesson experience.
* Students will be learning the proper arm stroke, kicking and breathing techniques of freestyle as well as other water safety skills.
* Select from either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday practices from 3:45-4:15.
* Once registered, you will be notified if a spot was available or if you have been placed on the "Waiting List".
* Waiting list swimmers will be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
* Your swimmer's level and group placement will be determined by our swim instructors.
* Children ages 5-10 with No Previous swim lesson exprience are invited to take lessons during our "Summer Sessions" at West Mobile Swim Club during the months of June and July. (No evaluation needed)
*West Mobile Swim Club does not give refunds for closures due to weather, National emergencies or acts of God.

Level 2 (Intermediate Stroke Lessons)
* Approved swimmers are billed monthly by credit card auto draft at a cost of $95 per month (+$10 registration fee)
* Fall Session is a three month, 2 day per week Intermediate level swim program for ages 7-10 who have advanced from Level 1
* All New Swimmers ages 7-10 will need to schedule a swimmer evaluation during December before you can be considered for approval. Email Coach Evans at brian@swimwm.com to schedule a swimmer evaluation.
* Students will be learning the proper arm stroke, kicking, and breathing techniques of freestyle and backstroke. *This program still includes our instructors in the water with their students.
* Swimmers need to already be able to comfortably swim a minimum of (10 yards) of freestyle.
* Select from either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday practices from 3:45-4:15.
* Once registered, you will be notified if a spot was available or if you have been placed on the "Waiting List".
* Waiting list swimmers will be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
* Your swimmer's level and group placement will be determined by our swim instructors.

ISR "Next Level" Instruction (West Mobile Baby Fish)
This is a 1 or 2 day per week program for 4 year olds who have have already completed ISR instruction with West Mobile Baby Fish.
You can select from either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday practices from 3:15-4:45.
