Practice will resume today (Monday, October 21) at the Ric Nuber YMCA on Quince. The first high school meet will be this weekend at 11AM. Warmups will begin at 10:30AM at St. George's. Please arrive at 10:15.
The YMCA pool will be closed this week so there will be no middle school practices. High school practices will be held at the University of Memphis from 7-8:30 (Monday-Thursday) with Coach Bryan. Normal practice schedules will resume Monday, October 21.

Upper School Swim Practice The Varsity swim team will begin practice on Wednesday, September 4 at 3pm at the Ric Nuber YMCA. The first practice will run from 3-5 PM and will be a very basic introduction to freestyle stroke technique. One year later, the Owls moved up one spot at the Tennessee State High School Championships. Seven school records were broken this weekend as the Upper School fought hard for their 7th place spot. Senior Pace Clark became the first State Champion in MUS history with a 100 yard butterfly swim of 47.37 on Friday night. Clark also took 2nd in the 100 yard backstroke the next evening. The Lower School swim team repeated as County Champions on Friday night, followed by Upper School winning their 5th straight Shelby County Championship on Saturday. Led by individual wins from Parker Kaye (100 yard freestyle), Christian Berry (50 yard freestyle), and Jack McCaghren (200 yard freestyle), the Lower School Owls took care of business scoring 382 points with the next closest team having 210. There is a time change for the Shelby County High School Championships. MUS & Hutchison will get 4 lanes at 8:30AM. Please arrive no later than 8:15 so we can get in the water on time. We will meet at Garibaldi's Pizza in Germantown at 5pm. The price of the buffet will be $8.
