To build a tradition of swimming excellence tied to our community. We will have a reputation of producing passionate, inspired and high producing swimmers, coaches, and parents. We will be known statewide. The Cyclones will be recognized as leaders and role models in the swimming world. As we build partnerships, the Cyclones will exemplify relationships with coaches, parents, families, schools, and community.
Primary Goals of Salida Cyclones Swim Team

Further the interest and education of all interested parents and children in the sport of swimming.

While in a positive environment, we aim to assist every swimmer, of all ages and abilities, with developing skills, confidence, and the commitment needed to successfully reach their individual goals.

Create a team concept within our organization and support those teams outside of our group.

Encourage and develop good sportsmanship, individual integrity, and a positive atmosphere for all team members.

Promote competitive swimming on the local and regional levels.

Schedule, organize, and hold swim meets.

Provide the appropriate level of funding necessary to further the swim program for all team members.
