Lindsey’s family knew of her love of water from a very young age and she began swimming competitively with the Decatur Swim Club in Decatur, IL when she was seven years old. Her first experience coaching was with DSC while in high school which is when she realized her love of teaching strokes and skills to young swimmers. After high school, Lindsey swam for the University of Illinois where she still holds a couple of top 10 records. Lindsey put her coaching ambitions on hold after getting married and moving frequently with the Army, but got back into it while living in Kansas in 2015. She most recently coached for the Manhattan (KS) Marlins Swim Team, Team Greenville, and Greenville Splash Masters before joining the coaching staff at CAT in April 2018. Lindsey took over as Head Coach of Clemson Aquatic Team in September of 2021.

Outside of swimming, Lindsey enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Ben, and three dogs, Dory, Daisy, and Rizzo. She also loves reading, baking, and attempting DIY projects around the house.
