This past weekend, one of our Masters swimmers, Bob Breitel competed in the Seal Beach Rough Water swim in Seal Beach, Ca. Bob placed 1st in his age group in the 3 mile and the 1 mile race, and 15th overall! Congratulations to Bob for his win and representing the Piranhas well. His next event is the La Jolla Tour of Buoys in August and then his season culminates with the Maui Channel Swim in Hawaii during Labor Day weekend. The whole Piranha family is proud of your success.

The Piranha Swim Team is proud to announce that they have added a new Adult Swim Instruction Class to serve the community at the Palm Springs Aquatic Center. The Adult Swim Instruction class is designed to help new Adult swimmers gain confidence in the water by building endurance in a structured setting, and learning the fundamentals of all 4 swimming strokes, as well as turns and equipment usage. July 8-10 - the Piranhas will be competing at the NEW swimming facility at Riverside City College this weekend. This is the first USA swimming event being held at the new pool there. The meet is labeled as a "last chance" meet to attain Junior Olympic time standards which is held at the end of this month in Thousand Oaks, Ca. The official word has come back from SCS. Piranha Swim Team (PSP) is competing at CLU in Thousand Oaks for the Junior Olympic meet. You can see the new meet info on the Piranha Swim Team website. A new event file has been installed, qualifiers need to please re-enter their events. A bunch of Eastern teams will be going to this meet site. Sorry for all of the confusion.

The Piranha Swim Team is proud to announce that we are expanding our programs to the East Coachella Valley. As of July 3, the Piranha Swim Team will be starting an age group session, Bronze/Silver, at the Shadow Hills High School swimming facility. We are very excited about this opportunity to reach children on that side of the valley and provide professional aquatics programming. Important News and Notes! Roadrunner Classic: This weekend, June 11-12, the Piranhas will be hosting our Long Course meet. We are hosting the Roadrunner Classic meet this weekend, June 11-12. The meet will be split into two sessions per day. All 12 and unders will be swimming the morning session; the 13 and older swimmers will be in the afternoon session. Please look at the timeline to make sure of your events and times.
