Winter Age Group Championship Results
10 of DA’s best competed at the Winter Age Group Champs on the weekend of December 8th-10th.
Derrick Mai (14) led the way with a total of 52 points and a 6th place finish in the 400 IM, 200 IM, 200 free, and 100 fly. With a team age group record in the 200 and 400 IM. Phineas Keenan (12) was second with a total of 39 points. He had 100% best times and placed 6th in the 500fr and 50 back. Marc Trif (10) was third in points with a total of 14. He also had 100% best times and placed 10th in his 50 back and 50 fly. His 50 fly was a new team age group record. Blake Probolsky (10) was fourth in points with a total of 4 points. He placed 13th in his 100 back with a time drop of 3.57 seconds. He also had a massive 4.93 second drop in his 200 IM.
15 and over relay swimmers Sara Rinkel, Heidi Tufo, Holly Lung, and Emily Sabastian competed and scored in all relays with a total of 16 points.
