H2A FUNraiser - Hour of Power
Saturday, October 13, 2018 – Hilton Head Island Recreation Center
Dear Swim Families:
All swimmers, their families and H2A friends are invited to join us for the 2018 H2A FUNraiser on Saturday, October 13th. Festivities will begin at 10:00 am following morning practice. This event will include the 2018-2019 team Photo, an Hour of Power FUN relay event involving the entire team from senior to pre-team, lots of food, and did we mention again - FUN!
This year's fundraising goal is $25,000 including both family fundraising efforts and corporate sponsorships. In order to make this a successful event, we need all families to participate by:
1. Soliciting financial contributions. Contributions of any amount are appreciated. See the FUNraiser event listing under the "Events" tab for sample solicitation letters and information how to send emails to family and friends using the team website. ONLINE DONATIONS MAKE IT EASY!
2. Providing team corporate sponsors. Please refer to the Team Corporate Sponsorship Form by clicking on the link below or (posted with the FUNraiser event listing under the "Events" tab) for participation levels and benefits.
Swimmers will be divided into FUN relay teams and swim a continuous hour relay with the Coaches dictating what they will be doing.... from kick board challenges...to doggy paddle laps...to senior butterfly with pre-team on their backs.....bring your imagination and your sense of humor!
Hilton Head Aquatics (H2A) is a non-profit organization and as such, all donations are tax deductible. We encourage you to collect payments in advance and turn them in no later than 10:00 am on Saturday, October 13th. If families do not reach or exceed their Family Fundraising minimum by October 31, 2018 AND turn their monies in by that date, they will have to pay a $25 processing fee
