USA Swimming and Hilton Head Aquatics are committed to raising awareness about prevention of abuse in sport. USA Swimming has developed a program called Safe Sport.
Our training tools will help you:
- Understand the scope and effects of abuse in sport
- Recognize the signs of grooming behavior and boundary violations
- Understand how to establish boundaries and protect against false allegations
- Know how to react and report when you suspect abuse

USA SWIMMING ATHLETES must now complete Athlete Protection Training by their 18th birthday. Compliance will be tracked through SWIMS, and those not in compliance will be prohibited from competition until compliance is achieved. THIS IS NOT AN OPTION.  There is no grandfather clause.
