Oscar Guillamondegui Tell us about your athletic history—what have you done and what are you doing/training for now? I swam through high school and also ran cross country into freshman year in college. I then became a nihilist in residency—suffering from the standard effects of being ‘on-call' every other night, for ten years (seriously-36 to 44 hours in a row for ten years). I arrived in Nashville out of shape and had no desire to change it. The impetus to get in shape began when I asked my wife, Tarah,...

It was great to see the swimmer’s step up in a new environment against some great competition. There was some awesome team support and cheering. We have a head of...

After college I ended up staying in Boca; I worked for BellSouth for a few years, but couldn’t stay away from swimming and became an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at FAU. I also coached and ran the Boca Master’s Swim team for several years. Four years ago it was time to go back to the...

Cissy Morse Tell us about your swimming career and how it started? I’m one of the few Nashville natives left; I grew up in Melrose off 8th ave., then later we moved to Brentwood. I currently live in Franklin. I actually started competing as a kid with NAC. I learned to swim at Glendale pool in Melrose (it was next to the Krystal) and then moved up to summer league at Brentwood Country Club, and then Brentwood Dolphin Club. When I was nine, I became an AAU swimmer with the...
