My name is Layla Glissmeyer, and I have been swimming since I was 10 years old. I swam with Tsunami for 6 years, and taught swim lessons throughout high school. When I graduated high school, I was able to help start the prep team, and began coaching. I worked with the developmental groups on Tsunami for almost 2 years, and I was the assistant coach for Woods Cross high school for 2 years before moving to Georgia. I love learning, and I am currently in the nursing program at Westminster college. I love helping swimmers build their technique and confidence in their abilities and am excited to help them progress!
My name is Siana Smith, but most athletes have taken to calling me Cici for short. I joined Tsunami in the fall of 2022 after moving back to Utah. I started coaching the Idaho Falls Surfers Swim team, as well as Jr. High swim for a local Junior high team in 2019. I spent most of my time at Idaho falls aquatic center as I swam on both Rigby High School's team as well as Idaho Falls' USA Swim team Voltage. I graduated from a small high school in Montana and I'm currently in school working towards my bachelor's degree in Anthropology. My goal as a coach is to help swimmers feel confident in their progress and enjoy the sport at every stage.
