This is a late developing storm so it is a difficult call to make. It is supposed to start snowing at 3:00 so I am going to error on the side of saftey and cancel practice for today. We will start our Pyramid Project next week! Also please remember we cancel practice independent of the Fluvanna School System so please watch your email and this web site!

This meet is a great meet for kids who have not swim many meets this season, also it there is no worry about hotel registration or anything. The meet at Woodberry Forest in Orange, VA. As a reminder....BASS North has had to post the following information to parents of swimmers using the BASS North practice facility. Please be mindful of this if you attend one of their practices. DO NOT LEAVE THE WFS FACILITY UNTIL THE DOORS ARE OPEN AND YOUR CHILDREN ARE INSIDE WITH A COACH. DO NOT DROP AND RUN. ON OCCASSION A COACH WILL BE DELAYED. The holiday practice calendar originally had a practice scheduled for Saturday, Jan 5th at Fairview with the time TBA. Due to the meet that weekend, there will NO LONGER be practice that morning. Sorry for the change!

Due to a late running high school meet at Woodberry Forest on Friday we will need to cancel BASS practice for all Friday swimmers. There will be practice Saturday morning from 8 to 10 for all Friday/ Saturday swimmers (at Fairview).

Zach Switzer, BASS/FAST Swimmer, has officially committed to swim at Virginia Tech next year. Zach, a senior at Woodberry Forest School, swam with the BASS winter program since 2006 until he began attending WFS in his sophomore year. Zach competes as part of our JSL team in the summer and has helped coach as well..
