You will receive a $10 credit for each new swimmer that you bring to the team. New swimmers can be evaluated for practice placement at this event.

BASS is sponsoring a unique opportunity to participate in a video stroke clinic that will feature in-pool testing using combined video and force testing equipment, followed by a classroom feedback session. Please see the attached flier. Individualized feedback will reinforce positive technique elements and pinpoint changes to work on. The $99 clinic fee includes the pool testing and classroom analysis sessions, a playback version of the Aquanex software and copies of the swimmer's files. The BASS, end of the season awards picnic, will be held Sunday, May 20th (picnic was previously on the social/meet calendar for May 19th) from 3 to 7 p.m.

Central School bus did not drop kids at Health Nutz. Please call Central 589-8318 and tell them to put them on Jaunt Bus to the pool. The team will take care of the transportation costs. Please accept our apology.

If you were planning on swimming in the Jeff Rouse meet the first weekend of May, the deadline for entries is midnight tonight, April 22nd. Please note, we did get the 2012 file and price per entry is $7 per event.

This is just a little reminder that the campout is on Friday, April 20th. Please be sure to bring the liability waiver with you. There have been a few common questions, I'll try to answer them below: What time does it start? Scott Hagan will be at the campsite some time after 2PM so you are welcome to start arriving around that time. I imagine many people will not be able to come until after work. For those that attend the Friday practice, it is at Health Nutz this week....

BASS has arranged for 11 travel practices to the ACAC long course pool for summer training. If you are interested in these travel practices, please complete the registration form and mail your payment to BASS at P O Box 130, Culpeper, VA 22701. Circle "long course only". The dates for the practices are Thursdays from June 14 - July 26 and Tuesdays on 6/12, 6/26, 7/10 and 7/24. Practice time is 7:15 am - 9:15 am and the cost is $55.

For those of you interested in participating in long course meets during the summer, the meets are now listed on the Events tab of the website. The first one coming up should be available for entry shortly but this will let you see the dates of the meets BASS is entering this summer.
