FAST Families, We need your help in making our transition from inside to outside. On the following dates we will need volunteers to help us remove the pool cover at Camp Friendship and then we will need help moving the equipment from Health Nutz to Camp Friendship. This weekend four BASS swimmers will be representing Virginia Swimming at the 2011 Eastern Zones Short Course Championship in Webster, NY. Jacqueline Barklund, Alix Neilan, Brian Hynes and Nick Switzer have all qualified to participate. This is a great opportunity for these swimmers. We wish them well in their respective races. We know they will do a great job in the pool and represent BASS and Virginia Swimming very well.

BASS South Swim Families, If your swimmer is considering competing this summer in the long course competition season, please look at the Summer Practice Flyer from BASS North. Although BASS south will have a separate practice and fee schedule, the clubs offer a joint practice one day a week in a long course pool to help the swimmers prepare for the meets. Warm ups for this weekend's BASS meet at Woodberry are as follows: Swimmers in Purple, Blue, and Senior groups have warm ups at 8:40 am on Saturday.
