1. Sixty two GBY swimmers are participating in the DCY Jingle Bell Meet. Map and address is on their website. At this point DCY has not posted anything on their website.  http://www.doorfins.org/   Please check this site for your heat sheets and I would imagine they would have warm-up assignments. Warm-up time in the meet information is listed as 7:00-7:55am, with the meet starting at 8:00am.  As I get this info I will also post it on our website.  Coach Kris and Coach Kari are attending this meet. 
2. Hopefully everyone is keeping up with the website for registration deadlines.  I also set the website to alert you one week before a deadline.  I know at this point that deadlines are very near for the Foxjet Meet, Team Bowling Party and Personalized swim caps.  The apparel orders were due today.  I set meet entry deadlines very close to my entry deadline so after a meet entry deadline is reached no more will be accepted.
3. Next Wednesday night is our Holiday relays.  These will begin at 6:30pm.  Team members only need to be on deck at 6:30pm to participate.  These should conclude around 8:00pm.  If any Gold swimmers would like to work out afterwards until 9pm that would be OK.
4. Paul Manke will be at the DT Y next Wednesday to shoot our team photo.  This will take place in the Large Gym. All team members should arrive at 6pm in their team suit for this picture. We have the large gym reserved from 6:00-6:30pm to take this photo.  Paul will also shoot individual photos if you want in the pool area beginning at 5:00pm.  An order form is on the website and should be returned directly to Paul Manke at the photo shoot. 
5. The holiday practice times are posted on the website.  Gold I&II practice are ran in the AM between Christmas and New Years.  All other group practice times remain the same except for Tuesday.  No SWHS practices that day. And that is also the night of the bowling party.
6. Assorted Notes

·         Please remember that all GBY swimmers must scan their membership card before entry in to our Y’s.  If you need a membership card, stop at any Y front desk and they can make you one.  I would suggest a key card which could be attached to the swimmer’s bag so they always have it. 

·         Winter reminder – All swimmers should be dressing properly for the weather.  Including a winter coat, hat and no shorts.  I will try to monitor this when I can but please ensure that your kids are dressed properly for the weather.

·         There is practice this Friday afternoon for Gold swimmers and Saturday IS for Gold I and invited Gold II swimmers.
