1. Twenty Five GBY swimmers are participating in the 13&over USA State Championships at the Schroeder Aquatic Center.  Please refer to our website for warm-up assignments. Please be early for all warm-up sessions.  If you are schedule later in a session and want to arrive late please send Coach Dave a text to let me know.  (609-4958).  Please read over the meet information carefully.  Please make sure that you check-in for your events where needed.   I will be at the meet all four days.  Please check the relays.  Some relays swim at night in finals but most are in the morning sessions.  200 yard Relays begin the day on both Friday and Saturday so all relay swimmers need to be at warm-ups.  Thursday 800 Free Relay swimmers should be at the pool by 6:00pm. Relays will be at 7:00pm.  1650 Swimmers have a 2:50-3:50pm warm-up time.  And the 1650’s begin at 4:00pm on Thursday.
2. Seventy two GBY swimmers are participating in the FCY Everybody Counts Meet.  Warm-up times for both Saturday & Sunday are at 9:00am, and meet starts at 10:05am.  Please be early to all warm-up sessions.  Please check FCY’s website for any updates.  Coach Carissa, Coach Bill and Coach Ben will be at the meet this weekend.
3. The entry page closes for the Oshkosh Y Last Chance meet on Sunday night. Please make sure that your entry is completed by then.  Y State entry page will be opened through Sunday, March 11, at Midnight.  I will try to look at relays next week and get a tentative list out.  Y National swimmers should have completed the hotel sign-up on the website.  Next week I will send our rooming list to the hotel.  If you have not signed up for a room yet please do so by the end of the weekend.
4. I did experiment and send out an escrow statement by e-mail generated from the website.  I will do this from time to time.  Thank you to the many families who are keeping up and staying ahead in their escrow accounts.  We do have a number of families that have balances that need to be taken care of.  Please have all balances taken care of prior March 11^th.
5. I will put an order page for Y State Shirts on the website.  The cost will be $12.00 each and will be charged to your escrow.  You will need to go into the commit page and put names and shirt sizes needed on that page.  This will close on Sunday, March 11, also.  Shirt design will be on the site.
6. Assorted Notes

·         There will be no Dry lands for either Silver or Gold on Thursday, tomorrow. No Friday practices or Saturday AM practice this week.  Coach Bill will run all Thursday practices.

·         Please check your escrow accounts on your account page.  Please ensure that you have all monies in your escrow account for upcoming meets.  I have all charges through the Dolphin/FCY meet in the system.  So please check your invoices and get monies in your accounts ASAP to cover all upcoming meets.  DID YOU KNOW – You may call the DT Y front desk business staff (Kathy & Mary) and put money into your escrow account over the phone with your credit card.  Please call right away to take care of all escrow balances and to put additional monies into your account.  Thank you!!

·         Please remember that all GBY swimmers must scan their membership card before entry in to our Y’s.  If you need a membership card, stop at any Y front desk and they can make you one.  I would suggest a key card which could be attached to the swimmer’s bag so they always have it. 

·         Winter reminder – All swimmers should be dressing properly for the weather.  Including a winter coat, hat and no shorts.  I will try to monitor this when I can but please ensure that your kids are dressed properly for the weather.
