1. The stroke clinic schedule is below. Clinics have begun and run through Monday, April 30. The schedule is below.  GBY swimmers only need to show up. Attendance is taken and all GBY swimmers will be charged through their escrow accounts in early May. Please ensure that all families have ample monies in their escrow accounts to cover these charges.

Spring/Summer Season will run from Wednesday, May 9 – Wednesday, August 1.  These practice times are on the calendar on the website.  The meet schedule is posted on the website.

1. Tuesday evening, May 8, 6:30-8:30pm, I will run an all-parent meeting at the DT Y in room 1D.  A parent from all families is expected to attend this meeting.  I have many important items to go over prior to the start of the season.  PLEASE MARK THIS DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR.

1. The GBY awards Banquet sign-up is now open on the website.  All GBY families must sign-up on the website to attend by Sunday, May 6.  Please go to the website for all info and instructions.  Friday night, May 11^th, is the day of the banquet.  All GBY swimmers and families are encouraged to attend.

The graduating Seniors’ are in need of any pictures taken during the season at meets, practices or other team events.  Please have these on a flash drive. You may give the flash drive to John Bushman or Coach Dave.  The flash drive will be returned.   Please do this ASAP.

1. I have had some kids attending year round practices and other interested in attending that did not sign-up for these.  If the practices do not get to large I will allow walk-ins at $5.00 per session.  These are only open to Gold I & II swimmers.  Those who have already attended will be charged for those you have attended and any future ones.  I will charge these to the escrow account with the stroke clinic charges in early May.

1. All charges are in your escrow accounts for the 2011-2012 season. Thank to all those families who took care of their balances.  We still have a number of balances that were not paid.  I would please ask that you take care of these now, Thank you.  You can pay by credit card over the phone by calling a business staff at the DT Y. You can also pay at the front desk of the DT Y.  Also please ensure that you have monies in your account for the stroke clinics, round workouts and the awards banquet by early May.

1. Assorted Notes

·        Please get signed-up for the Cellcom water station ASAP.  We are in need of 75 volunteers. You can sign-up for this volunteer opportunity on the website now.  All volunteers will receive a t-shirt.  Families and friends are welcome to help.  Please sign them up on the website also.

·        All stroke clinics, year round practices, and spring and summer practices are on the workout calendar on the web site.

·        I should have most of the meets posted on the website except for the later July meets.  The GBY Friday Night 50’s meet is posted to include the worker sign-up.  All GBY swimmers should participate and all parents are needed to work this Friday evening meet.  Please get signed up for all meets ASAP.  Please remember that Gold I&II have priority on both the Pabst Farms and WGLO meet due to limited amount of entry spots that we have.  I will have the later July meets up as soon as I receive information.
